A one-stop shopping centre providing an extensive range of daily supplies was opened in early 2005. The shopping centre is primarily devised to give more conveniences to patients, attendants and visitors. It is hoped that the conducive atmosphere will accelerate patients' healing process. In the pavilion, a cozy cafeteria, drugstore with Unit Dose Dispensing (which is highly efficient in drug usage) and public telephone booth (Wartel ) are at hand. All the venues are open around the clock. Whilst waiting for treatment and administration process, attendants and ancillary relatives are provided with TVs that are placed in convenient open spaces. Furthermore, Surabaya Hajj General Hospital is strategically located in the eastern Surabaya , and is adjacent to several housing complexes, Galaxy Mall, Surabaya Institute of Technology (ITS) as well as office complexes, i.e. Mega Galaxi, Klampis and Manyar.
